Don’t stir

I’ll have to admit that Downton Abbey has been the best part of 2012 for me (so far). Jordan and I started watching it about 2 weeks ago and we’ve been hooked ever since.

Last night, we finished season 2; with a finale episode that was a gut-wrenching torrent of emotions :( A las, I will be anxiously awaiting Season 3 (due Sept 2012). :( :( :(

If I had to recommend a show to anyone, it would definitely be this. Endearing characters. Great storyline. Gorgeous cinemtography. A sliver of a progressive period in history. A most moving and masterful piece of work.

Not only is the story captivating, but the costumes are divine. I adore the Crawley women and their fashions of the day.

Bruised ego

You keep hitting the same spot
and you don’t know how it hurts

There’s only 1 me…

in the entire country:

woot!

Be still, my beating heart.

Audrey, you’re fantastic.

Confessional

  1. I’m freakishly scared of the ocean. Sharks…they’re out there you know!!!
  2. I love dancing…but I can’t stand being in clubs anymore. All those sweaty, drunk, swearing, staring, slurring people…not a fun atmosphere at all! I definitely need to get Dance Central soon.
  3. I believe youth is wasted on the young.
  4. I swear by Clarins. The best skin care line ever.
  5. I’m very easily amused.
  6. You might be afraid to follow me after I belt one out at karaoke. I’m known as the karaoke killer. #realtalk
  7. I use Old Spice deodorant. I love the way it smells so I just decided to start using it (and maybe the marketing had something to do with it, too). lol. It turns into a woodsy vanilla scent by the end of the day. I’m weird.
  8. I’m 5’3″ and a half. I’ve maintained 110lbs since high school. I have a BMI of about 19% (and I think that’s all ass ^__~). Depending on the label, I’m a 24/25 waist.
  9. My first recollection of (both) my parents genuinely beaming with pride was when I won a district spelling bee in Houston when I was in 5th grade. Seeing them both jumping up and down for me was the best feeling in the world.
  10. I’m not even sure where we got it from, but my siblings and I are all fitness buffs. We love staying fit and eating healthy.
  11. I hate soda. I can’t believe people drink that shit on a regular basis. It’s so bad.
  12. I love Paige Denim & Adriano Goldschmeid (AG) jeans. Seriously the BEST fit for my frame.
  13. I’m scared of escalators. And stairs.
  14. I keep in constant dialogue with the 7-year-old in my head.
  15. “I restore myself when I’m alone.”
  16. When I was little, I distinctly remember asking Jesus each time I said grace for my food, “Please let these calories go to my butt and boobs.” LOL.
  17. I saw two celebrities at the W hotel last year: Jason Segal & Sigourney Weaver. It was surreal.
  18. I’m super proud of my little brother and all the projects that he’s tacked onto his film history! He even has his own IMDB page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3115550/ #straightup-brag
  19. I could eat ramen all day…everyday.
  20. I am extremely grateful that my parents weren’t typical filipino parents – pushing the nursing/medical field on us. They allowed us to pursue what we wanted; careers that catered to our strengths. It makes me a little sad to see Filipino youth brainwashed into thinking that a nurse is the best they can be. #aimhigher #individualityplease!
